Frequently Asked Questions
Personal Profile
What makes Marlow Marketing & Design different from other agencies?
Marlow Marketing & Design is a small, hands-on team led by founder Katie Marlow, with support from marketing coordinator Ella Hanchett and drone pilot Eric Marlow. Together, the team combines well over a decade of experience in marketing, media, and storytelling. Projects are approached with strategy, creativity, and personal connection. There are no layers of account managers or outsourced work, just direct collaboration with the people doing the work.
How do you determine your pricing?
Pricing is based on the scope of each project and the time required to complete it. After an initial consultation, we provide a clear estimate outlining services, timelines, and costs.
What industries do you specialize in?
We work with wineries, restaurants, real estate professionals, hospitality, and other local businesses. Every project is shaped around what makes each business unique.
How do you ensure the success of a project?
Each project starts with clear goals and a plan. We share an estimate and timeline, then keep things moving with regular updates. Two rounds of revisions are included, and once it’s wrapped up, we check that everything’s working as it should.
What makes working with you different from a larger agency?
Larger agencies usually pass projects between departments. At Marlow Marketing & Design, clients work directly with the core team, keeping things simple and personal. The focus is on quality, flexibility, and real relationships without the layers or red tape of a big agency.
How do you handle communication and updates throughout a project?
Each project starts with a one-hour chat to go over goals and strategy. After that, we send an estimate and keep in touch through email and shared documents. Calls or in-person meetings can be scheduled anytime if needed.
Can you help with both short-term projects and long-term strategies?
Yes. We take on both one-time projects and ongoing partnerships. Long-term work includes a 5 percent discount for six months or 10 percent for a year.
